Day 01: Kathmandu (1,300m) – Lhasa (3,650m)
Today you will catch a flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa. You will fly to Lhasa crossing some of the magnificent panoramic Himalayan ranges. On reaching the Gonggar Aiport, you will immediately transfer to your hotel. Full rest and acclimatization. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 02, 03: In Lhasa
On the second day of your Lhasa tour, you will visit the Jokhang temple that sits in the center of the old Lhasa city. It is one of the most sacred temples in Tibet. You will walk around the Bakhor street which is the most devotional circuit of Lhasa. You will visit the Sera monastery which was built in the 15th century.
On the third day, you will visit the famous Potala Palace. It is the cardinal landmark of Tibet and reflects the masterpiece of Tibetan architecture. In the afternoon, you will explore the Drepung monastery. It is one of the largest monasteries in the world and is home to more than 10,000 monks.
Day 04: Lhasa – Kathmandu
