Annapurna Panchase Trekking is an off-the-beaten-track trekking destination in the Annapurna Region. The total length of this trip is merely 12 days long. Annapurna Panchase trek starts after a cultural tour of Kathmandu valley. Here you can as you visit some UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, the Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, and Kathmandu and Patan Durbar Squares. Your first glimpses of the mountains in the Annapurna Region will be during a 25-minute scenic flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu. You will start your trek from Pokhara itself. From there, you will trek along a variety of climatic conditions, vegetation, and cultures. You will encounter a variety of vegetation during this trek ranging from temperate forests, the terraced rice fields and to the alpine region offering.
The walk through these villages in the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) region will especially be delightful in the spring season. Annapurna Panchase Trek Difficulty
As the Annapurna Panchase Trek is a relatively short and low altitude trek, it is one of the easier treks in the Annapurna region. The total length of the Annapurna Panchase Trek is 11 days long. The highest point during this trek is merely 2509 meters in Panchase Hill. So you won’t have to worry at all about altitude sickness. All the other places and villages during this trek are around or less than 2000 meters in altitude. The number of uphills and downhills during this trek are also lower in comparison to other treks like Annapurna Base Camp Trek or Annapurna Circuit Trek. So you can complete this trek even without any trekking experience. But preparing by running, jogging, swimming, cycling etc. for a few months will help you complete this trek quite easily.

Detail Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.
On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport meet our staff with GA complimentary transport transfer to relevant Hotels, our guide will give you a briefing of the Hotel, Kathmandu, Trekking, and related information that you might require while in Nepal with Nepal International Tours & Treks Pvt. Ltd.
Day 02: Half day guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu.
After your first night in Kathmandu, you will be well informed on arrival about the time for your half day guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu at places of interest if booked.
Day 03: A scenic flight to Pokhara 950m 3-hrs trek to Bhumdi village 1500m.
As per the flight for Pokhara, our GA staff will transfer you to domestic airport for a short half hour scenic flight to Pokhara. On arrival at Pokhara our GA staff will receive you for short drive on the outskirt of Pokhara to begin this trekking, walk leads to 2 hrs uphill through the rice terraces, once on the ridge a pleasant trek for another 2 hrs through the farm village of Gurung (one of the famed Gurkha hill tribes of Nepal) with few ups and down brings you to the overnight stop at Bhumdi village.

Day 04: Trek to Panchase Bhanjyang 2,200m 5 – 6-hrs walk.
Trek after breakfast leads to gradual uphill leaving the farm villages behind through the cool shade of the temperate forest of oaks and rhododendron and meadows with an occasional view of the Annapurna ranges. The walk is fairly moderate for few hours, lunch is served on the open grass meadows after a 3-4 hr walk, after lunch a gradual climb through the woods, another two hours downhill and uphill walk bring you to a small settlement of Panchase Bhanjyang at approx 2,200m altitude. Panchase Bhanjyang is situated at the base of Panchase hill. The campsite here has a magnificent view of the snow-capped range and of the surrounding landscapes.
Day 05: Hike to Panchase hill 2,509m and to Bhadaure village 1,670m,
Early morning 1-1/2 hr hike to the Panchase-hilltop at 2,509m for the superb panorama of Mt.Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Mt. Manaslu range, Panchase is also a holy spot during the auspicious time (once in a year), pilgrims from the nearby village and as far from Pokhara pay their homage. You can see the religious shrine around; and a view tower for the panoramic scenes of the western and eastern Himalayan range of mountains. After a wonderful time here return to Bhanjyang for lunch and continue the nice journey to Bhadaure village through the pristine rainforest till the camp is reached above the village, from this spot a view of Mt.Dhaulagiri, Mt Annapurna south and Mt Machhapuchare can be seen, with ample time to visit the Gurung village at Bhadaure.
Day 06: Trek to Bhirethati or Syauli Bazaar 1,200m 5 hours walk.
The trek today is an easy walk overlooking the views of the snow-capped mountain and the terraced farm fields and fertile valleys passing through several farm villages and paddy fields, as we get lower area, come across more Hindu tribe the landscapes and climate changes into sub-tropical and to more rice paddy field, after 3 hours walk the trail joins at Nayapul, where most of the Annapurna and Kaligandaki trek begins. It will be quite a change after being in the absolute wilderness for the past few days; the walk from Nayapul is very gradual on the winding trail following the glacial river Modi upstream to camp at Syauli Bazaar, a small village at the bottom of Ghandrung village by the Modi River.
Day 07: Trek to Gandruk village 1,950m.
From here the route heads north following the Modi river for a while through several farm villages and waterfalls on reaching at Kimche an uphill walk on stone steps all the way to Gandruk village, approx. 3-4 hours walk. Gandruk, a large village in the mid-hills of Annapurna region, the people here are Gurungs an ethnic hill tribe of Tibetan Buddhism sect, unlike the Buddhism of Everest or from other high areas, Gurung people are Sheppard’s of Buddhist religion and culture, they are famed as Gurkhas soldiers in the British and Indian Army. Most of the Gurungs since last centuries, recruited as gallant soldiers in Nepal, Indian and British Army. At Gandruk (also pronounced as Ghandrung) village with time to visit around Gurung houses.
Day 08: Trek to Landrung / Landruk. 1,640m. 5 / 6 hrs walk.
A leisure morning after breakfast and lunch trek continues on the ridge, passing through several huts, farm villages and small patch of forest, the walk from here is all downhill to the bridge at Phedi for an hour or more, after the bridge over the raging Modi River, a slow uphill walk for another hour to the village of Landrung for the overnight stop.
Day 09 Trek to Thulo-Kharka / Australian Camp 2,050m, 5 hours.
From Landrung the walk is gradual on the winding path through the villages and terraced fields, after two hours of good walk, the trail leads you to the last hour uphill to a small pass at Deurali ridge 2,150m. After Deurali, a nice downhill walk through the forest with magnificent view of the Annapurna and Mt.Manaslu range all the way to the small village of Pothana, situated at a lovely spot in the midst of the woods overlooking magnificent view of snow-capped mountain range, valleys and as far up to the Phewa lake in Pokhara, from here another 50 minutes of good walk through the cool shade of the forest brings you at Thulo Kharka also known as Australian Camp a wonderful spot in the midst of the forest with large meadows overlooking magnificent views of the Himalayan range of mountains from Annapurna to Manaslu. This place also offers a great view of the sunrise and sunset as well.
Day 10: Trek to Kande and drive to Pokhara 1 hr walk with 1 hr drive.
From this fabulous spot, an easy downhill walk leads through the village of Kande by the Baglung-Pokhara highway; it is also the start and ending point of various trekking around Annapurna region. From here an hour drive reaches you to the Hotel by the Phewa Lake in Pokhara
Day 11: Drive back to Kathmandu 180 km 5 hrs journey.
After a wonderful time in Pokhara and in the Himalayan mid-hills, a scenic drive brings you back to Kathmandu.
Day 12: Transfer to Airport for International departure.
Today as per your international flight time, Nepal International Tours & Treks Pvt. Ltd. staff will transfer you to the airport with complimentary transport for your final departure from this most scenic country, Nepal.
