Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel with sightseeing tour.

On arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport you will be received by GA staff and transfer you to respective Hotels, GA guide will brief of the Hotel, Kathmandu and about the program and related information that you might require while in Nepal,

Day 02 – 03: In Kathmandu tour of Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, Patan Durbar Square with Swayambhunath.

After breakfast GA tour continues with a drive to Pashupatinath Temple a holy Hindu Temple, situated 5-kms east of Kathmandu, the temple of Lord Shiva-Pashupatinath with two tiered golden roof and silver doors is famous for its superb architecture. Visitors can clearly seen the temple and the activities performed in the temple premises from the eastern bank of the Baghmati River.

This River is also a cremation site of Hindu’s; from here a short drive leads to the Bouddhanath north east of Pashupatinath area. The Stupa of Bouddhanath lays 8-kms east of Kathmandu, this colossal and ancient stupa one of the biggest in the world. This area is also known as ‘Little Tibet’ after a visit here the Tibetan Buddhist way of life,  tour continues towards Patan area, situated south of Kathmandu, separated by a bridge over the River Baghmati. Patan also known as Lalitpur meaning city of arts, visit the old Palace courtyard (Durbar) the tall terracotta house looks fascinating with intricate window carvings, and the Stone Temple of Krishna with the pillar of Garuda the vehicle of Lord Vishnu and of Lord Krishna, after a wonderful day drive back to Hotel.

Next day a tour at the suburb of Kathmandu city to Swayambhunath also popularly known as ‘Monkey Temple,.’ this is one of the world’s most glorious Buddhist Chaityas. It is said to be 2,000-years-old. Painted on the four-sides of the spire bases are the all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. It is 3-kms west of Kathmandu City and is situated on a hillock about 77m. Above the level of the Kathmandu valley, it is included on the World Heritage. From here one can have a view of whole of Kathmandu city and its valley in the backdrop of distance snow capped mountain range on a clear day.

Day 04: Drive to Pokhara with a visit to Manakamana Temple.

Morning after breakfast drive to Pokhara one of the most amazing place in the foot hills of Himalaya on route Pokhara visit the Manakamana Temple of Gorkha district, travel by Cable Car of 20 minutes from Kurintar just 104 k.m. away from Kathmandu, at Kurintar a ride in a cable car pay homage to Goddess Mankamana after an interesting visit here the scenic drive continues to Pokhara and transfer to respective Hotels with time for a short walk around the tourist hub of Phewa Lake side, evening dinner with cultural program at authentic Nepali Restaurant.

The Manakamana temple lies 12 Km south of the town Gorkha. The temple is located on a distinguished ridge 1302 meters above sea level and overlooks the river valleys of Trisuli in the south and Marsyangdi in the west. The spectacular views of the Manaslu- Himachali and Annapurna ranges can be seen to the north of the temple. The legend of Manakamana Goddess dates back to the reign of the Gorkha king Ram Shah during the 17th century There is a tradition of sacrificing animals at the temple. Some pilgrims sacrifice a goat or pigeon in a pavilion behind the temple. In earlier times the only way to reach the Manakamana temple was by walking uphill for about three hours. Now, there is a cable car that runs from the cable station of Cheres it was desigend and built by a world’s famous Austraian Cable and Ropeway company, just 5 kilometers east of Mugling to Manakamana. The cable car rides over the distance of 2.8 kilometers in 10 minutes more or less. The bottom station of the cable car is placed at Kurintar 258 meters and the top station is at Mankamana 1,302 meters.

Day 05: At Pokhara sightseeing tour.

Morning a short drive bring you at Davis Fall also known as Devis or Pathali Chaungo, a beautiful cascading waterfall where the river vanishes underground in some point. After a good time here a few minutes walk across takes you to the famed Gupteshower Cave, it is good to bring your own torch although there is an electrical power inside, the cave is quite long as you walk down the staircase, first you will come to the shrine of Gupteswor, a little further down takes you to the waterfall inside this beautiful cave, the raging water fall from the River Seti. After a wonderful time head back to the Hotel for lunch.

This tour is either done in the morning or at afternoon time depending upon the time and clients convenience.

Day 06: At Pokhara visit Sarankot for the sunrise and drive back to Kathmandu.

Early morning is the best time for the drive to the Sarankot, a hill top located just on the north west of Pokhara city. After a wonderful time here head back to the Hotel. After breakfast drive to Kathmandu the final end of this amazing tour of Nepal.

Sarankot at an altitude 1,592 offers breathe taking scenery of the whole Pokhara city and the valley including the serene lake Phewa in the magnificent backdrop of the snow capped mountains from Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna to Manaslu range including the majestic Mt.Machhapuchare (fish tail) the sunrise from here which is one of the best reflecting on the snow capped peaks.

Day 07: Depart Kathmandu for international flight to respective countries.

As per the flight time The Great Adventure staff transfers you to Kathmandu International airport for the flight home or to respective destinations after a wonderful time in Nepal
