Detail Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.
On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport meet our staff with our complimentary transport transfer to relevant Hotels, our guide will give you a briefing of the Hotel, Kathmandu, Trekking, and related information that you might require while in Nepal with us.
Day 02: Guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu.
After your first night in Kathmandu, you will be well informed on arrival about the time for your half day guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu at places of interest if booked in advance.
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara 820m. 5 – 6 hours journey 220 k.m.
The morning after breakfast, transfer by private vehicle to Pokhara on the busy scenic highway, an interesting drive through the towns and farm villages with views of snow-capped mountains. The road has been greatly improved in recent years or take a flight to Pokhara. On arrival at Pokhara transfer to the Hotel by the lake Phewa for the overnight stop, afternoon free.
Day 04: Drive to Nayapul 1,070m. and begin the trek to Tikhedhuga 1,540m.
After breakfast drive of near 2 hrs leads you to Nayapul (new bridge) to start this wonderful adventure, the walk passes through the busy areas encountering all types of people from local, trekkers and mule and donkey trains, the path joins at Bhirthati village from here follow west the main trail an old Trans-Himalayan trade route path, trek follows the main route through several farm villages and waterfalls till Tirkhedhuga is reached for the overnight stop. Approx. 3 – 4 hours walk.
Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani 2,874m. approx 5 – 6 hours walk.
Today one of the hardest walk up to a steep climb for 2 hrs on the paved stone steps unto Ulleri village, from here the path winds gradually through the cool rainforest with few ups and downs, and finally reaching at Ghorepani, an altitude gain as you can feel cold in temperature and in the change of vegetation, a wonderful walk to here in the midst of the rhododendron.
Day 06: Trek to Tadapani 2,631m. approx 5 hours walk.
Morning hour hike to Pun-Hill 3,190m for sunrise over the great panorama of the Himalayas from Dhaulagiri-Annapurna to Manaslu mountain range. From here return back to Ghorepani for breakfast, after Ghorepani the walk follows to upper ridge through rhododendron forest, the path narrows downhill through the temperate rain forest, stepper path in some places, then reaching at Bhanthahti in the middle of the forest, after a short break for lunch then on the gradual trail for an hour to a small stream in the middle of the rhododendron forest, an hour uphill walk to Tadapani. Tadapani is in the middle of the forest of Rhododendron, Magnolia, and Oaks. From this place, a grand view of Annapurna South and Machhapuchare (fishtail) can be seen at a close distance.
Day 07: Trek to Landruk 1,430m. via Ghandrung. 5 – 6 hrs.
After a wonderful time here at Tadapani with the great views of the Annapurna and beyond, walk leads through the enchanting forest with occasional views of the Annapurna mountain range, the walk leads downhill passing through few small villages till Ghandrung is reached for lunch. Ghandrung a major large village of this area and the walk from here is all downhill to the bridge at Phedi for an hour or more, after the bridge over the raging Modi River, a slow walk uphill for another hour to the village of Landrung for the overnight stop.
Day 08: Trek to Thulo – Kharka / Australian Camp 2,050m. 5 hours.
From Landrung the walk is gradual on the winding path through the villages and terraced fields, after two hours of good walk, the trail leads you to the last hour uphill to a small pass at Deurali ridge 2,150m. After Deurali, a nice downhill walk through the forest with magnificent view of the Annapurna and Mt.Manaslu range all the way to the small village of Pothana, situated at a lovely spot in the midst of the woods overlooking magnificent view of snow-capped mountain range, valleys and as far up to the Phewa lake in Pokhara, from here another 50 minutes of good walk through the cool shade of the forest brings you at Thulo Kharka also known as Australian Camp a wonderful spot in the midst of the forest with large meadows overlooking magnificent views of the Himalayan range of mountains from Annapurna to Manaslu. This place also offers a great view of the sunrise and sunset as well.
Day 09: Trek to Kande and drive to Pokhara 1 hr walk with 1 hr drive.
From this fabulous spot, an easy downhill walk leads through the village of Kande by the Baglung-Pokhara highway; it is also the start and ending point of various trekking around Annapurna region. From here an hour drive reaches you to the Hotel by the Phewa Lake in Pokhara
Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu 180 km 5 hrs journey.
After a wonderful time in Pokhara and in the Himalayan mid-hills, a scenic drive brings you back to Kathmandu.
Day 11: In Kathmandu for independent activities.
In Kathmandu at leisure for last minute shopping and please inform our staff for an extra guided tour in and around Kathmandu Valley.
Day 12: Transfer to Airport for International departure.
Today as per your international flight time, our staff will transfer you to the airport with complimentary transport for your final departure from this most scenic country, Nepal.
